Back to Moscow

After 17 days of pure family reunion, Turkish food, sunshine and sea, I am back again to my beloved city...

I think the thing I like about Russia is that I have spent nearly every minute of it with adventures and fun. For example, yesterday I flied 3 hours, crammed in an old Tupolev-154 jet with the Russian Masters Water Polo Team who have started drinking just minutes after their gold medal ceremony in Istanbul hours before the flight. Due to a mistake in check-in, I had to sit right in the middle of the total mayhem and drunkenness (that is banned by Geneva Convention..at least somebody needs to be sober on a flight and I bet that our pilot hadn't stayed away from anything alcoholic for long before the take-off)

Russian Masters Water Polo Team...when they are sober

As they consumed bottle after bottle of respectively cheaper duty-free spirits, they cheered their victory against the Croatian team in the finals by swinging their gold medal in the cabin (and actually trying to open the pressurised windows to let some fresh air in..and nearly succeeded. I was the unlucky passenger near the window so I cannot feel my right arm now). One of them got some immoral intimacy with a stewardess (who was rather beautiful for a economy flight of Vladivostok Airlines) and got a grim beating by her. Her martial art skills saved the other cabin crew from more sexual harassment and started a pause in the in-flight celebration.

Vladivostok Airlines...The Wings of Terror

Most of the passengers and the team dosed off after the meal was served but my jolly neighbours, who tried hard by their crude English to sing a tune that resembled the song "Can't Take My Eyes Off You". Imagine two middle aged men singing aloud "I Love You Baby!" and after a short while they sung the same lyrics again, because they couldn't remember the rest...What a trip!

Well...reminding you about the "hi-tech" air conditioning of a Tupolev-154 jet, it mustn't be that hjard to imagine all those guys half naked, sweaty and drunk in the cabin...thanks God, I am not gay, otherwise the plane trip would be an erotic nightmare for me :))
